Ian Miller: Singer and the Sea Prelim #1

This original artwork is one of two wonderful preliminary drawings by Ian Miller that he created in preparation for completing the final cover art for Book 3 in M. Scott Rohan's "The Winter of the World series" published by Litle Brown/Orbit Books (UK) 1999. (I show the published cover for your reference) Each one is practically a finished drawing by itself, marvelously done in pen-and-ink on watercolor paper in Ian's instantly recognizable style, 7" x 13" and is signed in initials and dated in logo by the artist bottom left. This one is framed to 12" x 16" with Miller's notes left intact, as the owner considered them integral to the imagery  (see photo) But clearly these can be made invisible by re-framing, as that is a matter of personal taste.  If you are interested in purchasing both drawings, while they are stilll available, please note that I can make the pair $1200. plus combined shipping for the two.
