Don Maitz: "Tree Huggers"

"Tree Huggers" is an original personal painting in oils completed in March 2013, says Don, and it began as a plein air painting in his Florida neighborhood park "amid a lot of mosquitoes," he told me, with a smile,  "so I gave blood to paint this".  He later added the Unicorn ridden by the fairy because, he says "the painting needed them"  And who would not agree?? Painted in Oil on panel 10" x 8"  framed to 15" x 13" signed bottom right and comes framed!
