This is the 2nd of two original preliminary paintings for Book #2 in Mercedes Lackey's "Bardic Voices" fantasy novel series,  published by Baen, 1994  (I show the cover for reference)  This one is also very similar to the final art reproduced on the cover, very detailed and colorful with fine characters done in acrylics on upson board, 7" x 4.25"  and is signed and titled by Darrell on the reverse.
