This is the original painting created for the cover of Maya Kaathryn Bohnhoff's fantasy novel, Book #2 in her "Meri" series, published in paperback by Baen, 1993.  Wonderful composition, scene and coloration with great details in acrylic on Upson board, 24" x 16" and signed in Sweet's classic initials "DKS" bottom right in the image.
