This is one of two original preliminary artworks created for Book #2, sequel to "D'Shai" by Joel Rosenberg, published by Ace 1st ed in paperback, 1994 (I show the cover as reference). This very nicely rendered prelim is a mini version of the final artwork completed for the cover....except for the wizard's hat!!! great characters and composition for this tale of magic and mystery and finely done in acrylic on illustration board, 7.5" x 4.5"  and is titled, signed and dated 1993 by Darrell on the reverse.
