Original illustration art created for J.G. Ballard's novel, from 1979 - here published in a new paperback edition from  Flamingo Books UK 1993. It's a strange, surreal story, of a young pilot who crashes his light plane into the Thames....and a world transformed/invented by Ballard, filled with exotic imagery....captured by the cover illustration. Hand-painted  in Acrylics on illustration board, 13" x 9" and signed.
