This is the second of two cover paintings created for collections of horror stories edited by Dr. Christopher Riche Evans - this one described as "stories of horror from the skulls unmapped depths" and published by Panther, 1974 (cover shown for reference) The Haberfield family would prefer to sell these as a pair, so for the price listed you will be receiving both this painting and "Mind in Chains" (see other listing) I am listing them separately only to enable more complete descriptions of each artwork.  Both of these original illustrations are the same size, 17" x 12.5" and both are hand-painted in gouache on illustration board with  publication and artist's details on the reverse.  NOTE: YOU ONLY HAVE TO PURCHASE ONE OF THESE PAINTINGS IN ORDER TO PURCHASE BOTH.    If by chance you make a duplicate purchase, you will be refunded.
