PRIVACY: WoW-Art never sells or leases contact or account information. We invite all to join our (optional) e-list to receive news, and information on special events and sales.
TERMS OF SALE: All artworks are offered subject to prior sale. We accept payment by all major credit cards, personal or bank check, postal orders, paypal or bank wire. Foreign customers must pay in U.S. dollars. Deferred payment plans may be arranged, on an individual basis. All artworks are guaranteed as described and may be returned for any reason provided we are notified of such return within five days of receipt and the artworks are returned in original condition and shipping container. All returns must be shipped insured. Shipping and insurance are additional and will be billed at cost, or to the buyer’s account. Postal regulations may not allow us to adequately insure foreign shipments. I prefer to ship artwork by Fedex, as handling by other carriers is not to the same high quality...but we will used whatever carrier the buyer requests. For overseas shipments please contact me first at wowart@wow-art.com to make suitable arrangements.
Can I purchase artwork "on approval"?
While I accepts returns of artworks I sell, they must be paid for in full before they can be shipped to you. That is why I urge collectors to ask questions, and get as much information as they feel is needed, before making a purchase. Please feel free to contact me - I welcome all questions - and will do my best to make you feel comfortable and confident of your decisions before you buy.
How can I contact the artists you represent?
Except for very special circumstances, artists and consignors prefer that I act as the intermediary for all communications, in order to maintain their privacy. If you have a need, or desire, to contact an artist or seller I represent, please correspond with me first.
Can I use the art I buy for the cover of my book?
Many people believe that because an artwork was originally commissioned as "illustration art" that it can be used for commercial purposes by whomever owns the art (has possession of the physical property). Regrettably, that is not the case. Only the owner of the copyright (in most cases the artist) can grant the rights/give permission for commercial reproduction of the image. If you want to use art that way, please call or write me and I will advise re: licensing.
What is your returns policy?
If you are unhappy with your purchase, for any reason, you have 5 business days post-delivery to make that decision and another 5 business days to get the artwork back to me. If you wish to make a return you need to get in touch with me within that time period. Payment will be refunded in full, less shipping costs, once the artwork is safely returned. All artwork must be returned insured and tracked, packed in the original materials, at the buyer's expense,
FAQ
What are your payment options?
If you purchase an artwork online, through my store, you may pay via Paypal. If you prefer to make payment using your credit card, or by bank check or bank wire, I can also accept those methods: please contact me directly for instructions. I accept personal checks only from buyers with whom I have done business before.
Do you provide International delivery?
Yes, and the artists as well and myself are experienced in doing that. There are some countries to which it is simply unwise to ship original artworks; if you are in doubt about your location, just contact me.
What are your delivery options?
I represent artists and consignors of artwork in the U.S and the UK (and occasionally other locations). The most frequently used carriers for shipments in the United States shipping to locations domestically and to international locations are the U.S. Postal service and Federal Express . The most frequently used carriers for shipments originating in the UK are Parcel Force and Federal Express. The shipping costs I have programmed into the store's system are based either on the value of the shipment, or the weight and include tracking and insurance where possible.
How do I track my order?
Once your artwork is shipped, you typically will receive a tracking number by email from me. Please be aware that it usually takes 2-3 days to pack and ship an artwork once the order is placed. Please note that most shipments will require a signature for delivery.
