Sam Ray: Banished	Original painting in acrylics, a personal work by a southern artist who showed his highly colorful and detailed fantasy/SF paintings at genre conventions in the 1980s. The flora recalls Southern swamps, but the "banished" alien, exotic coloration and fauna makes this decided otherworldly. Created with the technique of painting a frame 'within the frame' the work is 20" x 30" on masonite and comes framed. The work is signed in logo/inital bottom right in the image, and dated '89.	$300.00
