Released October 2003, and now widely available, is the art book on one of the most talented American illustrators today - John Berkey. The book includes an autobiography written by Berkey, and more than 100 images in full color.....spanning the whole of Berkey's career, from early paintings he created while working at his first commercial job as a 'house artist' for the famous Brown & Bigelow calendar company in Minnesota, through the 1960s, 70s, 80s and 90s.....dozens of important paintings he created for non-genre and sf genre books, magazines, advertisements and corporate art. Selections of some his most memorable - and never before published - personal works are also included. And for those fans who already own his first art book, you'll be happy to learn that this book contains no images that were previously shown in Painted Space - this is a whole new compilation of images, and one that takes a different approach to his art.
